Tamarindo is the most complete town on this stretch of Guanacaste: beach, dining, schools, and a market that still rewards people who know which streets actually work.
Many buyers start here because daily life is easy. You can walk to coffee, surf at first light, and still be 45 minutes from Liberia airport. Inventory ranges from remodeled townhomes a few blocks off the beach to hillside villas with sunset views. The tradeoff is noise and tourism: the right street and a good HOA matter more than a pretty listing photo. Adam’s curated list favors homes he would actually hold — not every MLS card with a Tamarindo pin.
